Dog Decides To Escape And Take Himself To Daycare To Play With His Friends

Dogs can be very determined when they want something. Normally it is food, and they seem to have a sixth sense in finding scraps of food, but in this instance friends were the main attraction for our mischievous dog Riley. Riley is five years old and sometimes, his owners have taken him to Happy Dog Cafe Daycare in Belmont North Carolina. The other day he was out with his owner Tonia Mosteller, and they happened to drive past the daycare centre on their way home. Riley noticed all if his friends there and obviously decided he wanted to be with his best buddies.

As soon as Tonia got home, and released him into the back garden, unbeknownst to her, he somehow managed to open the back gate, and then proceeded to walk the mile back to the daycare centre. And all without satnav. Needless to say, the staff were a little surprised when he turned up at their front door, but after all the effort he had gone to, they couldn’t really turn him away. Riley was allowed to stay and by all accounts, everyone had lots of fun. I have a feeling the back garden gate might be getting a padlock attached to it soon though.
