Many of us have seen and shared and cried at some of those homecoming videos where children get surprised by the return of their daddy from war. They can certainly be really emotional experiences for all involved, including those of us watching the clips. This one has a slight twist to the story. When this army veteran returned to the States he wasn’t physically capable to look after his dogs, In fact he had to move to another location to get the care he required, and bringing the dogs simply wasn’t an option.
However, two months on, once his health have improved, a charity took it upon themselves to transport his two dogs back to him. This heartwarming video shows the minute they were reunited and also demonstrates that it wasn’t just the human that had been suffering.
