If you have dogs, you understand how much they can work their way into your heart. There are times, however, when unexpected situations could strike and our dog may need to stay somewhere until the storm passes. That was the case with a veteran who had to put his dogs into a shelter so that they could be cared for while he stayed in the hospital.
