Many of us are not only familiar with the story behind a rescued dog, we are part of one! For those of you that have had such an experience, the story of Nico, a dog that was about to be put down will lift your spirits and touch your heart. It is difficult to estimate how many dogs are euthanized in the United States annually. According to 1997 statistics, however, 64% of all animals that enter a shelter will not be adopted. We are so glad that Nico was able to tell his story for us.
