Motherhood is the most amazing feeling in life. To have babies, puppies or kittens reliant on you for their life and welfare, whilst scary is also a remarkable feeling, and the love and bond between a mother and her children is one of the best feelings in the world.
Sometimes I feel sorry for men, who never get to experience the special bonds we women have. The Rhodesian Ridgeback mother in this video clip is showing her love for her litter of puppies, but there seems to be an addition. Within the group of puppies, there is a little baby panther, which she has willingly taken in and is caring for. Unfortunately, I don’t know the full story here, but the why’s and the wherefore’s are kind of immaterial. What matters is that when called upon to assist this mother did what I would like to think we all would do and stepped up to the plate. In the video, you can see her feeding and cleaning the panther, and she seems to make no distinction between her own pups and the panther. In fact, if anything the video shows her paying more attention to her little adopted cat. Yet again we are amazed by our wonderful kind and caring animals.
