We love our dogs and in return, they provide us with a lot of love and they also are willing to protect us, even making the ultimate sacrifice. When somebody broke into a house in Florida recently, a five-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback named Anubis was quick to spring into action. Unfortunately, he was also shot five times during the burglary, including being shot in the head.
When the owner came home again, he saw that his house was destroyed and his dog was not answering to his calls. The police were notified and the K-9 unit came in. After finding the dog, they rushed it to the veterinary clinic. Although it was injured severely, it is expected to recover.
