When It Comes To Food, Dogs Can Be Fickle Also

Dogs have a reputation for being fiercely loyal and in most circumstances it is well deserved. But even our furry friends can be tempted to stray if something they are particularly partial to comes along.

In this video, we get to meet the absolutely gorgeous Benji the Maltese Shih-Tzu dog who is showing off his rather fantastic loyalty traits. His owner places one particular toy in front of him and asks the question “who is your best friend?” Instantly his little paw comes out and taps the fluffy toy which just so happens to be a moose. The owner then continues filming whilst adding a multitude of other fluffy toys to the mix, but each time asking the same question. Time after time without fail, regardless of which fluffy toy is added the moose gets picked every single time. However as we all know food is a deadly weapon and the poor moose finally loses the battle when a piece of food is added to the equation. The owner adds a fluffy but very tasty looking pizza slice to the choice of toys and asks Benji who his best friend is. In a matter of milliseconds, poor old moose is kicked to the kerb, and the pizza is now top dog. So you see dogs can be fickle also.
