In the dog world, size seems to have no bearing on bravery, in fact after watching this video you could almost imagine that bravery in inversely proportionate to the size of the animal. Having owned a number of chihuahua’s myself, people have a certain misconception of them. They think they are just little lap dogs with no personality whatsoever, happy to sit on their owners lap all day long, doing nothing.
Well I can tell you now that chihuahua’s have the most amazing little personalities and their bravery knows no bounds. When I saw this video i just had to post it, as it might destroy some of the myths surrounding these amazing little dogs. In the video you probably have the two most extreme sizes of dog on the planet. In the blue corner, or should that be cowering on the sofa, we have the huge heavyweight Great Dane. And in the Red corner taking control on the floor, is the minuscule chihuahua which probably wears no more than 4 pounds in weight. It wouldn’t surprise me if one of the Great Dane’s paws weight more than the entire chihuahua. And yet we can all see who is the boss in this situation. So ladies just remember its not always the size that counts.
