Smart Dog Realizes He Can Stand up in the Pool on His Own

There are many times when we go through life doing the same thing over and over again that we never really question what is truly able to be done. In many cases, it is almost a reflex reaction but at times, we discover something that we wish we had known many years before. It seems as if Cody the Labrador retriever is feeling much the same, as he is doing what labradors do best.

It is something to watch labradors in action, especially when there is water nearby. It seems as if they are able to swim forever, and they absolutely love being in the pool and enjoying the water. As it turns out, however, there was something rather interesting about this particular pool that Cody needed to learn, and when he learned it, he was absolutely floored.

Although labradors are able to swim quite well, this dog didn’t need to swim at all. He was treading water for quite some time when all the sudden, he realized he could stand up on his own feet without having to go through the effort of swimming. It’s one of those moments that many of us have come to expect out of life.
