Some people have doubts as to whether animals are able to display emotions, but for those of us who have owed animals as pets, we recognize the truth. Not only do they give us unconditional love and feel bad when we feel bad, they also might have a bit of a jealous streak from time to time. That is why some people are nervous about bringing a new baby into the home and as you will see, it is sometimes justified.
This involves a dog named Yoga who had all the love and attention from her adopted parents since she was a little puppy. She loved living in that home, and she especially loved the ongoing attention that she received. That was about to change, however, when the adopted mother got pregnant and then delivered a baby.
Like many dogs, Yoga was not fully aware of what was going on. The only thing she realized is that she was not getting the attention any longer and now, it was being put onto this new bundle that they brought home. A little bit of jealousy ensued but fortunately, Yoga’s parents are quite understanding and knew just what to do.
