If you have ever had a puppy, you recognize just how much they love to eat. That is especially true of certain breeds, such as the labrador, who tend to be chow hounds. It seems as if you can barely get the food into the bowl and they are on top of it, eating it as fast as they can.
Of course, there are always exceptions to the rule and it seems as if this young puppy is one of those rare cases. Rather than jumping face first into the bowl while the food is being poured, he sits patiently and watches it happens. What happens next is sure to melt your heart. With the bowl full of food in front of him, he lays down on the floor and says a prayer with his master. It is quite touching to watch.
It seems as if table manners are a thing of the past. For most families, the dinner table is more of a catch-all than a place where the family comes together. Perhaps we could learn a lesson from this example and start having dinner with our families again. It may take some time but it will be well worth it.
