This Little Dog May Be The Best Medicine Anyone Could Ever Take

Doug Dawson works in an elderly care home, as a dispenser of drugs. Whilst that may be his official role, what he does for the home and residents may be far more important, although technically speaking, he doesn’t actually do anything.

You see he owns a little Teacup Poodle whom he brings with him to work every day. But the minute they arrive at work unless they meet in the corridors, that’s all he sees of the little dog until it is home time. You see Nala has become the home’s self-appointed therapy pet. Without any training or help, every day she decides who she is going to visit, when and for how long she stays with a patient.

The only difficulty she has is not being able to reach the elevator buttons. The joy she brings to the patients is immeasurable and you can see the joy on their faces when she chooses to visit them. She really is a regular little Florence Nightingale.
