Many households have multiple pets, and in some cases they get along quite well. When it comes to this household, however, the pets get along so wonderfully that they are like one big family! After all, when a baby pygmy goat was born into the household, the German Shepherd stepped forward and started caring for her, just as if she were her own mother!
It is not unusual for female dogs to show mothering instincts, even if it is to another species of animal. I have to admit, however, this is the first time that I ever saw a goat being taken care of by a German shepherd! I guess there weren’t any sheep around…
