In an area near downtown Los Angeles, a call came in about a family of dogs that had been living in a dumpster. The mother dog, along with several puppies, was accustomed to living on the streets but their health was at risk. When Hope for Paws came in to rescue the dogs, what happens is touching and quite heartbreaking.
Unfortunately, dogs are often abandoned because the owners can no longer care for them properly. This leaves the dogs in a difficult predicament, because they are now left to fend for themselves and quite often, they suffer as a result of it.
