Being a news reporter can be a tough gig. Especially when the story you have been sent to report on is one of disaster and destruction. You have a deadline to meet, people in the community may very well have been struck by disaster, and the last thing they want is some reporter sticking their nose in or asking for an interview. But as a reporter that is your job, and the directors and producers will not want to hear excuses they have time to fill and deadlines to meet. But part of being a great reporter is being able to find good stories in times of adversity, to keep your wits about you and never miss anything that is right under your nose.
That’s what happens in this clip when the reporter has just finished her current report. As she turns around she sees a dog sitting on a ride on lawnmower and if you didn’t know better you could actually believe he was driving it.
