In many parts of the world, dog fighting is commonplace but in the United States, it is illegal. Unfortunately, there are still those who regularly take part in this cruel sport and the dogs are often the victim.
That is the case with Jax, who was found with puncture marks to his face and neck, obviously from the illegal dogfighting that he was forced to endure. Although the injuries were quite severe, he still shows a lot of heart when humans approach.
